I Love Chia Seeds!




A staple of the Aztecs and Mayans- this gluten free super food is now readily available and comes with a multitude of health benefits. Chia seeds can be easily added to your daily food intake by adding to smoothies or salads, topping a sandwich or even making into a tasty fruit pudding.  Chia seeds can be used whole, sprouted, or ground.


Chia seeds are one of the most concentrated sources of omega 3 fatty acids. They support heart health, reduce inflammation, enhance cognitive function, and improve skin, hair, and nails.

With 10 grams of Fiber in only 2 tablespoons, Chia seeds provide around 50% of your child’s recommended daily intake of fiber.  Fiber is an important regulator of bowel function and health.

Chia seeds are also high in antioxidants and minerals such as calcium and magnesium.  Chia seeds also help give you a sense of satiety or fullness and can help regulate blood sugar levels.

I love Chia seeds because they are yummy, packed with nutrients, and easy to digest.
